The Procurement Intern will report to the Associate Director, Procurement lead with dotted line reporting to an individual in the team. If you are selected for this internship, you will have the chance to be involved in some aspects that span from research, development, operations and general corporate day-to-day.�

You will expected to be onsite in Durham NC with our team 3 days a week during your internship. Start date is June 3, end date is Aug 16. There is a one week unpaid summer break July 1-5th.

You Will:Learn industry best-practice Source-to-pay and ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, Netsuite)Understand how savings programs are built and deliveredEmbed with stakeholder groups to establish a critical skill set around stakeholder managementRun at minimum 1 Request for Proposal process (either end to end, or planning stage, or mid-process stage; dependent on timing)Engage with suppliersBuild negotiation skills, either through formal training or hands on experience�Work on optimizing how the procurement team manages expiring contracts, building dashboards or KPIs for the team, project managing a real/impactful project being delivered at GRAIL.Learn and have fun
Your Background Should Include:Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program.Must be able to commit to a full-time internship for at least 10 weeks.Must have good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Be proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and/or g-suite tools.�Be interested in learning core procurement skill sets with support from peers and managers.�Have a passion for meeting new people, influencing, building relationships.Have a passion for organizing information and building processes.�
